[ABSTRACT] Objective: Based on the bioelectricity impedance principle, We observed physical functional state under different kinds of moving load on pilot by the AMSAT human body function condition analysis system (made in Russia), providing evidence for physiological effects of the flight environment on pilot.
Methods: 75 male healthy pilots were divided into four groups stochastically. 23 pilots did not suffer any physical stress as the control group. 18 pilots underwent +75 degrees head-up tilt for 20min as HUT group. 20 pilots exposed to + 6Gz for 30s on the human centrifuge as +Gz group,. 14 pilots exercised at a target level of 90% of their maximum heart rate on a treadmill as running group. The functional state on all 49 organs of the body were analysis by AMSAT system following the above movement. The Amsat system consists of an apparatus for the transmission of a signal, which automatically scans 11 biologically active zones on the skin of the head, body and extremities using an impulse with positive polarity (22 directions) and with a frequency of 10 Hz. The statistical analysis used by the SPSS 10.0 software.
Results: There were no relationship between the age, the height and the weight and evaluating indices of the functional state of body. But there were correlation in evaluating indices of the functional state in four groups. Also indicators had obvious difference among four groups by rank sum test (respectively, p<0.01). Moreover after the load, the most enhancement of functional state was observed in the cardiopulmonary function following +Gz load and in the digestive system and the urogenital system following heas-up tilt. Emotion tensity appeared the greatest after treadmill exercise. By using the method of main component analysis, four main components were chosen as the comprehensive evaluation index from 14 physical function indexes.
The first kind of functional indicators shown on peripheral nerve system, digestive system, urogenital system, skeleton system.
The second kind of functional indicators indicated on cranial nerve.
The third kind of functional indicators was total physical function situation;
The fourth kind of function indicators shown on circulatory system and respiratory system.
Conclusion: Functional state of each physiological system is in different levels with various movement. The AMSAT system might evaluate changes of organ system function state effectively, Evaluation on physical function state has provided the new method for pilot under the simulated flight environment. |
